We moved!

We’ve recently joined forces with our big bro – Bike Index.

+

BikeIndex.org also loves . Just like here, also there you
will get help with stolen bikes, get your bike checked – and
more!

Take me there  ⇾

Your bike was successfully submitted for a test

Lab

And just like that, your bike was submitted!

We will let you know the results in couple hours. (Unless it’s weekend or holiday in our lab, then it may take a couple days 😉 ).

Your bike for sale was submitted!

Great job, 2 of the 3 steps are done!

We have just sent you an email with a summary and confirmation. Our team will verify your bike and it should be available for sale in couple minutes.

Are you from Amsterdam or around? We will get in touch with you soon to help you even more – photos, handover and so on…

Selling is essentially a transfer of feelings.
Zig Ziglar

I'm on it!

Thanks for submitting your testimony.

Our Detective will now start searching for your bike.

Please proceed with the next steps.

Where do I find the frame number?

Locations of frame number
The usual format is 2-3 letters and 6-8 numbers (e.g. XX1234567), but may be also only numbers (usually at least 6 numbers). Newer bikes often have a sticker with this number on more convenient place (e.g. on frame above pedals axis).

Can’t find it

If you cannot find it, there is a big chance you will succeed on the bottom of the bike, where it’s usually hidden below dirt (have a wet wipe at hand).

Some bikes do not have any frame number at all ever since the manufacture (this is very rare, though). Some bikes have it visibly removed (scratched) – this is often sign of the bike being stolen in the past.

More numbers?

There may be more ID numbers available – if you are not sure, send us everything you find, we’ll pick the correct one.
